Have begun my cooking saga. As of last night, I have officially graduated from "I can sort of stir fry things if given detailed instructions and allowed to call my mom to make sure I'm not going to burn down the house" to "I can cook!"

The dish in question was cauliflower and potato in herb sauce, except that we didn't have tomato paste and had to substitute this Italian product with all of the wrong herbs. :( It is still pretty good.

I love to cook, but routinely fail at anything complicated enough to require a recipe.
